Parliament’s departure: inflation and many resolutions at the start

Day one is marked by inflation. Right at the beginning of the “Current Hour” the ÖVP wants to once again celebrate measures that have already been decided, while the SPÖ in an “urgent motion” in the afternoon calls for regulation of electricity prices, among other things.

But there are also a number of laws to be passed, such as a package that gives cyclists more rights, such as turning right on red. The red-white-red card is being reformed by upgrading English skills and lower earnings are sufficient to receive the document. There is more money for small and medium-sized companies to alleviate the consequences of the pandemic. An occupational health service will also be introduced, with which members of other health professions will also be able to make inspections in the future.
