Why should we apply for the Digitalos?
The Digitalos is the official digital award of the state of Upper Austria and a great distinction. In addition, branding in companies is becoming increasingly important in the competition for customers and specialists, and the Digitalos can also make a good contribution here. There is also the opportunity to present the company or product to a broad public. For the winners of the respective category, the OÖN are offering media services worth 9,000 euros each.
How to apply?
The application to the Digitalos is only possible online, the submission form is available on the Internet at www.digitalos.at available. There you will also find general information about the digital award and all the details for the submission, including the four different categories in which you can apply. When is the deadline?
Applications for the Digitalos 2022 are at digitalos.at until Saturday, September 3rd at the latest.
How is the selection made?
OÖNachrichten and its partners make a pre-selection from the applications – they are supported by digital experts from the Johannes Kepler University in Linz. The jury chaired by Martina Mara, Professor of Robot Psychology at the JKU, then selects the winners from this list of nominees. In the “Digital Personality” section, the readers of OÖNachrichten, who can vote for their favorites online at nachrichten.at, make their choice.
When will the winners be awarded?
This year’s Digitalos Gala will take place on October 6th in the OÖN Forum in the Promenaden Galerien in Linz.
The categories
1| Digital startups
This category looks for young companies that have a unique idea, a rapidly scalable business model and are attractive to investors. This sets them apart from other companies. Last year “neoom/Ntuity” won.
2| digital personality
Known on YouTube, Instagram or Facebook: In this category, the OÖN honors people who reach many people on the Internet. It is the category that our readers determine. In 2020, Anita Moser won with her food blog “Linz isst”.
3| digital transformation
Companies that have converted an analogue to a digital business model come before the curtain here. We are looking for companies that stand out from the rest and have developed a secure concept for the future. Last year Tilo won.
4| Digital Engagement
This year there is a new category with “Digital Commitment”. It is intended for clubs, institutions, networks or groups that have distinguished themselves through their digital commitment to society.
5| Digital pioneering work
In this category, a person is honored who has significantly shaped digitization in Upper Austria with extraordinary achievements. This award is determined by the jury. Christa Sommerer secured this award last year.
