“Dancing Stars” winner and juror, opera ball choreographer, dance school owner – and for a few days also wife: Maria Santner gave her long-term partner, the singer Marco Angelini, the yes word. For the dream wedding at the Hirschmugl winery in Styria, the couple chose the ringing date of July 7th, 2022.
On Saturday, the dancer from Sipachzell shared a wedding photo on Instagram. “Mr & Mrs. Angelini-Santner” wrote the newly married professional dancer from Sipbachzell to the picture that shows her and her husband beaming in front of a green hilly landscape. Photographer Sarah Katharina from Linz was behind the camera.
A “magic” proposal
When Santner was a guest at the OÖN Women’s Day in early March, she had already revealed that the wedding would be small and fine, without much media noise. It was different with the marriage proposal: Marco Angelini got on his knees during a “Dancing Stars” show in November last year. “It was magical, a wonderful moment, absolutely overwhelming,” said Santner in the OÖN interview at the time.
