Trucks at the A8 rest area in full fire: video shows meter-high flames

The fire broke out around 6:30 p.m. A video shows how meter-high flames erupt from the driver’s cab. A huge column of smoke can also be seen.

Nine surrounding fire brigades were called to the A8 parking lot near Meggenhofen (Grieskirchen district), alarm level 2 prevails. The emergency services were able to extinguish the fire, and the front part of both heavy vehicles was completely destroyed. Nothing was known about the cause in the evening.
