This training is a full-time training. At the school for social care professions in Mauerkirchen you can also complete it part-time.
The nursing assistant training is often started and the specialist social worker is completed. “People with this training are part of our main professional group. But we also notice that the home helper training is interesting for people who have been ‘away from learning’ for a long time and would like to start with a smaller training”, says Karin Altmüller, managing director of the Social Welfare Association (SHV) Braunau. Again and again, home helpers decide to do more nursing training. “We are happy when people decide on a care and nursing profession and then practice it with a lot of commitment and empathy, regardless of their training,” she emphasizes.
Experience shows that local training opportunities are very important. The SHV has therefore been very committed to offering home help training in the district. Because: “We want to train people in the district, if possible, and then hire them as valuable employees in our district after they have completed their training.”
