Promoted Gschwandt eliminated Pettenbach 5:3

In the first round of this year’s Traunsee-Almtal-Cup, state league promoted Union Gschwandt continued to show itself in brilliant form and clearly eliminated future league competitor Pettenbach 5:3 (1:2). The goals for the Sirocic team in front of 150 spectators were scored by Stefan Tiefenthaler, Nedim Rizanovic, Florian Mayrhofer and Janko Sirocic (2).

District league club ASKÖ Vorchdorf had little trouble against FC Altmünster (1st class south) and won 3-0, as did SV Gmundner Milch, who even won 5-0 in Ohlsdorf. It was much more exciting in Scharnstein, where the hosts led 2:1 against favorite SK Bad Wimsbach until the 89th minute, but had to admit defeat in the end with 2:4.

So in the semi-finals there will be a Lauachtalderby Vorchdorf against Gschwandt (Wednesday, 7.30 p.m., Vorchdorf), while Gmunden will host Bad Wimsbach tomorrow (7.30 p.m.). In the lower play-off, Ohlsdorf has to go to SV Scharnstein (tomorrow, 6:30 p.m.) and Pettenbach to FC Altmünster (Wednesday, 6:30 p.m.).
