Laura Wienroither is about to return. The 23-year-old Arsenal full-back had delivered a positive Covid 19 test on Saturday and therefore missed the second Group A game. She had only mild symptoms, which have since subsided. On Tuesday, after several negative test results, she underwent extensive examinations.
It won’t be decided until Wednesday whether she can really get back into training. The results of the final blood tests should arrive on this day, which must be correct for a final medical clearance to return to play and training operations.
