The 18-year-old had been observed by officers from the criminal department during three handovers of drugs in the Bessemerstrasse area, and the handcuffs clicked for him on Monday. His buyers could also be stopped and the drugs seized. The dealer had about 50 grams of heroin and a small amount of methamphetamine on him.
He admitted to the police that he had been circulating hard drugs in the Linz area since the end of June. When questioned, he said he was recruited in Serbia and accepted the offer to pay off his growing gambling debts.
After consultation with the public prosecutor’s office, the young man was transferred to the Linz prison. Further investigations will follow, the police said on Tuesday evening.
