The Chamber of Labor (AK) Upper Austria criticizes the “chaos” of the energy vouchers. President Andreas Stangl reported on Thursday that more than 100 consumers had contacted the AK in the past few days because they either did not receive a voucher or had problems redeeming it. “We urgently call on the Ministry of Finance to finally ensure that this energy voucher is processed professionally,” said Stangl.
According to the descriptions of many of those affected, the hotline is hopelessly overloaded. If you try to get on with the FAQ or the chatbot Mona instead, you will get stuck with the question “I haven’t received a voucher yet, what can I do?” referred to the hotline again, but no one could get through, it said in a broadcast.
