Bolsonaro’s son shocked Marcelo: “What would you say if my father went to Portugal and met Socrates?” Eduardo Bolsonaro believes that the Portuguese president had an “inelegant” attitude towards the meeting with Lula da Silva and Temer.

Eduardo Bolsonaro, son of the President of Brazil, criticized Marcelo Rebelo de Souza for the President of the Republic meeting with Lula da Silva and Michel Temer after Jair Bolsonaro canceled at the last moment a meeting he had scheduled with the Portuguese counterpart in Brazil.

In an interview with SUNEduardo Bolsonaro said that the president of the republic “did not follow diplomatic protocol” and that the meeting with Lula da Silva and Michel Temer, the former presidents of Brazil, was a “provocation”.

“I would like to know what commentator Marcelo would say if my father went to Portugal and met José Sócrates?” during the presidential campaign.

“Many in Brazil understood that he was making a gesture, hoping that Lula would become the next president of Brazil,” says Eduardo Bolsonaro, who believes in his father’s re-election despite the fact that most polls point to the defeat of Jair Bolsonaro.
