A 93-year-old died in the hospital after being hit by a car in the Innviertel, for an 85-year-old on Thursday in the Urfahr-Surroundings district, any help came too late.
The first accident happened on Wednesday in the municipality of Schalchen (Braunau district): A 60-year-old car driver may have overlooked the senior on his electric bike. Your car hit the 93-year-old at an intersection. He fell and sustained such serious injuries that he died a little later in the Salzburg State Hospital.
Resuscitation failed
A similar accident with a fatal outcome occurred on Thursday morning in the municipality of Bad Mühllacken (district of Urfahr area): at the intersection of the B132 with the Oberndorf road, an 85-year-old e-biker collided head-on with a car, steered by a 39-year-old from the district of Grieskirchen.
The elderly man hit his head on the windshield before being thrown a few meters through the air and lying motionless in the middle of the B132.
