The program of the Salzkammergut 2024 Capital of Culture project is taking shape. The first events are already taking place and a pre-campaign entitled “23 for 24” has already been launched.
On this occasion, the team around the artistic director Elisabeth Schweeger visited the mayors of seven communities in the north of the district of Gmunden. Hubert von Goisern was there too. The musician is a member of the Capital of Culture Committee.
The delegation visited the communities of Vorchdorf, Laakirchen, Roitham, Kirchham, St. Konrad, Scharnstein and Pettenbach and was welcomed by the respective mayors. The local leaders presented their visitors with attractions and cultural sites of their communities, which will also play an important role in 2024.
