From a two-man operation to the world market leader in wood drying technologies: The successful development of the Eberschwang company since it was founded in 1982 was the focus of the 40th anniversary celebration at Mühlböck.
170 employees with their families as well as sales partners from all over the world celebrated a success story in a marquee on the Mühlböck company premises: Four decades ago, in 1982, Kurt Mühlböck produced a drying chamber for an Upper Austrian carpentry shop with a single employee in the garage of his house – the first product of his newly founded company. Since then, more than 13,000 other drying chambers, tunnel and belt dryers have followed this first system. Today, the Innviertler company is an international leader in wood drying at the highest level and has a unique position on the world market thanks to constant innovation.
Looking to the future is also very positive. The order books for the current year and to a large extent also for 2023 are already full, according to Managing Director Richard Mühlböck, who has been in charge of the company since 2018.
