From his visit to the sausage stand in front of Vienna’s Albertina, the rock star posted a photo that shows him casually with a cap and canned beer. Two unidentified men can be seen in the background, apparently deep in conversation. In fact, they didn’t notice Mick Jagger’s presence. Only since Friday, when the “Stones” singer published his impressions of Vienna under the title “Vienna by night”, did the guests know that they had prominent company at the sausage stand.
“I recognized myself and Jochen in the picture,” was a comment under Jagger’s post, written by Stefan Kurzel. “Yeah, we didn’t realize who we were drinking beer with,” he joked, and made another offer to the world-famous “Beer Buddy”: “If you want to have a cold beer with us, send us a message!”
On Friday evening, the Rolling Stones will perform in Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium in front of more than 50,000 fans. The European tour “Sixty” kicked off on June 1st in Madrid. “Sixty” because the “rock dinosaurs” are celebrating their 60th stage anniversary. The tour includes a total of 14 concerts.
