At 20:42, the emergency services were alerted to the major fire. A farm caught fire in the area of the entry lane at the airport in Hörsching (Linz-Land district). 40 minutes later the fire was under control. Thanks to fire protection walls at the farm and rapid intervention, the flames could not spread further. The fire was limited to one side of the square, according to initial information. A tractor burned out in the affected part of the building.

Also in St. Ägidi (Schärding district) a large extinguishing operation was underway in the evening hours. Eight teams went out around 7:40 p.m. to fight the fire in a farm building.
