A 61-year-old from the Braunau district rode his bike on the Seestraße from Perwang am Grabensee towards Edt shortly after 6 p.m. on Friday. According to his statements, he had consumed too much alcohol, which is why he fell. He behaved aggressively towards the paramedics, verbally abused them and did not want to be taken to the hospital. A breathalyzer test showed he was intoxicated and he agreed to an alcohol test.
As he became more and more aggressive, he was asked to calm down and stop his behavior. Then he cursed at the police and wanted to go home. After being informed about the consequences of refusing the alcohol test, the 61-year-old clenched his fists and took a step towards one of the police officers. He kept him at a distance and asked him to keep his distance and to stop his behavior.
After a verbal showdown, after pointing his fists at the officers and making a jerky movement in the direction of a police officer, he was arrested and taken to the police station. When he was released, he apologized for his behavior.
