A three-year-old boy died Saturday afternoon after being hit by a tractor at a farm in the Tottington area of Manchester, England. The family called an ambulance on duty in the region, but the victim could not stand the “very serious injuries” and was pronounced dead before arriving at the hospital.
“It is a heartbreaking accident where a boy tragically died. I think about his family,” said the chief inspector of the local police, Ian Partington. Independent.
Authorities said “a tractor driver is helping with the investigation.” The ground remains isolated and closed to the movement of people so that investigators can “determine exactly what happened.”
