“Being able to play for LASK after my stints abroad is something very special for me as an Upper Austrian,” said Zulj after yesterday’s signature. His professional career began at the Linz academy: he returned home via Ried, Salzburg, Fürth, Hoffenheim, Union Berlin, Bochum and Al Ittihad Kalba.
Zulj himself revealed that he also had offers from the German Bundesliga. “Nevertheless, he chose us. That shows how convinced he is of LASK and our path,” said sporting director Radovan Vujanovic proudly.
