Brazilian police killed eight people, including his mother, wife and children. Fabiano Junior Garcia committed suicide after the Paraná massacre.

An agent of the military police of the city of Toledo in the state of Parana in southern Brazil carried out a massacre on Thursday night, when it was already dawn in Portugal on Friday, killing eight people and committing suicide. Of the eight victims, six were from his family, including three of his children.

According to initial information, agent Fabiano Junior Garcia, 37, was working normally this Thursday in Toledo and left his duties shortly after 19:00 local time, 23:00 Lisbon, when he began his insane criminal act. He first went to his house and killed his 28-year-old wife and 12-year-old eldest daughter.

He then went to the city of Seu Azul, 61 km from Toledo, and killed another nine-year-old daughter and four-year-old son, who lived with their maternal grandmother, who were unharmed. Also, according to what the Civil Police (the judiciary) has already found out, Fabiano, after killing the children, returned to Toledo and committed other crimes.

He killed his own mother, aged 75, his brother, aged 50, and two boys, aged 17 and 19, with whom he had no relationship, but who had the misfortune to cross him in the street. Finally, Fabiano committed suicide.

Between one execution and the next, and during trips between Toledo and Seu Azul and back to the first city, Fabiano sent messages to colleagues and superiors, telling what he had already done and what he planned to do, while the Prime Minister sent reinforcements and made blocks to try to find and arrest him before he killed anyone else, but the agent was very experienced and did not let himself be intercepted. The murder caused a huge shock in the city and came as a surprise to the military police, whose general commander, Colonel Hudson Leoncio Teixeira, classified Fabiano as an excellent police officer who was in the process of divorce and had some debts, but did not show any behavior or even signs of emotional problems or mental disorders.
