The couple, often referred to as “Bennifer”, said yes on Sunday in the glittering metropolis of Las Vegas. Both now carry the married name Affleck. According to the court documents, Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lopez married on Saturday. “We Did It,” Lopez announced in a circular on Sunday afternoon (local time).
In a small wedding chapel, they said yes just after midnight. In photos and in short videos, the bride and groom are dressed in white. Lopez posted a link to her On the JLo newsletter on her social media. She signed the statement with the name Jennifer Lynn Affleck.
Wedding canceled in 2003
It is the fourth marriage for the singer and the second for the Hollywood star. Lopez and Affleck announced their engagement in April. Reports of the rekindling of their romance had previously excited many fans. In view of their former nickname “Bennifer”, formed from their first names, the US media quickly came up with a new name for the re-lovebirds: “Againifer”.
Between 2002 and 2004, the two were already a couple. However, they postponed their wedding, which was planned for 2003, and finally announced their separation in early 2004. Lopez called her “second chance” with Affleck a “beautiful love story” earlier this year.
