27 brass bands from the districts of Gmunden and Vöcklabruck took part in the district music festival in Ebensee last weekend. The host was the fire brigade music band Langwies, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Because of the pandemic, the annual district music festival had to be canceled twice recently. The anticipation of the musicians and brass band friends was all the greater this time.
The highlight of the festival weekend was the marshalling. The individual bands had meticulously prepared their performances and were rewarded with thunderous applause from the audience. The following chapels received the highest ratings:

In addition to the mostly excellent performances in the march rankings and the ideal weather conditions, the ambience at the Trauneck festival site and the perfect organization of this major event by the Langwies fire brigade music band ensured enthusiasm among the participating bands. The marquee was filled to capacity.
Sunday was all about the blue light organizations. After a Floriani fair, deserving members of the Ebensee fire brigades were awarded. A children’s program with a bouncy castle and handicraft program was prepared for the little visitors.
