Hat money and stools: what visitors to the plaster spectacle should know

The city of Linz gives tips for the spectators of the cobblestone spectacle in advance:

Traffic

From July 21st to 23rd, the Linz plaster spectacle will slow down tram lines 1, 2, 3 and 4 between the stops at Hauptbahnhof and Sonnensteinstraße or Landgutstraße. There will be a traffic disruption on all three days. A rail replacement service with buses will be set up on Thursday and Friday from approx. 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Saturday from 2.50 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. Bus routes 26, 27 and 192 will be diverted.

Which artists can be found where? Because the The program is put together anew every day and can be found at the info points and on the homepage. There is also a newsletter that will be sent out by 1 p.m. on the three days of the event.

hat money

The street artists do not receive any fees. They play for hat money donated to them by the audience at or after the performance. If you don’t have any small bills or coins with you, you can change cash at the information point on the main square.

Sit

There are plaster stools that visitors can also get at the information point on the main square for five euros. If you have any questions, you can contact the staff, who are wearing straw hats. The Infopoints are also contact points.
