Russia and Ukraine have been negotiating the agreement since last week under the mediation of Ankara and the UN.
Last Friday Moscow had been optimistic about a prompt signing of a pact to free thousands of tons of grains and cereals blocked in Ukraine since the beginning of the war, on February 24.
“Exports would take place from three ports: Odessa, Pivdenny Y Chornomorsk. We hope in the future to extend deliveries from other places,” Ukrainian deputy Rustem Umerov.
According to him, the security of the convoys will be in charge of a United Nations watchdog group based in Istanbul, and Russian ships will not be able to enter Ukrainian waters if this agreement is confirmed.
Up to 25 million tons of grain are blocked in Ukrainian ports, threatened by the Russian fleet and the sea mines that kyiv scattered to prevent a Russian naval assault.
