A short but violent thunderstorm passed around 9 p.m. in the Mühlviertel community of Gramastetten (district of Urfahr-Umwelt). With lightning, thunder and heavy rain, the surrounding fire brigades were called to a fire operation. Lightning struck a farm building where hay and straw are stored.

“The roof truss was on fire,” reported the Gramastetten fire department on Friday morning.
