From August 8th to 10th, the HTL Braunau offers “sport meets technology” for children and young people between the ages of ten and 13, combining sports units with technical activities. Sports teacher Klaus Falkner works with a large team of teachers and students from the HTL, badminton, beach volleyball, football and table tennis are on the program in the gyms and on the school’s sports facilities, and dance choreographies are practiced.
All participants can choose whether they would rather do soldering exercises in the electronic workshop alternating with media design or exercises in the mechanical workshop alternating with scientific experiments. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch and all material costs are included in the course fee of 60 euros.
“This program is perfect for staying in shape during the summer holidays, both physically and mentally,” says organizer Klaus Falkner. Registration is possible until July 31, 2022 via the HTL Braunau website at www.htl-braunau.at.
