According to initial information, a car driver who was traveling on the B139 from Neuhofen an Krems in the direction of Linz lost control of his car after an unsuccessful overtaking maneuver. The car came off the road near the village of Weissenberg and crashed into an embankment before coming to a standstill lying on its roof.
The driver was treated by paramedics and taken to a hospital. The Ansfelden, Nettingsdorf and Weissenberg fire brigades arrived to clean up and secure the scene of the accident. They cleaned the accident site and salvaged the wreck. The B139 was closed in the affected area for the duration of the operation.
