The man had been summoned to the police station in St. Florian (Linz-Land district) for a criminal offense under the Narcotics Act. Although he knew that he had to answer questions before an officer at 9 a.m. on Saturday, he may have used drugs beforehand.
He came to the police station by car, where the police officers quickly identified clear symptoms of drug impairment. A urine test confirmed the suspicion. After a clinical examination, the police doctor determined that she was unfit to drive.
The man’s driver’s license was temporarily taken away and he will be reported. His interrogation went ahead as planned. The man confessed to possessing narcotic drugs, police said on Saturday evening.
