On Thursday, a gang of armed men stormed the set of a music video and raped eight women near krugersdorpa small town west of Johannesburg.
No one has yet been charged, but the police charged illegal immigrants who work in the mines in that area of South Africa, and arrested 84 people in a raid.
According to the reconstruction made by the police, a team of 22 people (12 women and 10 men) were filming a music video in an abandoned mine when they were attacked by a group of armed men.
Two other suspects were killed in a shootout with police and a third was wounded, according to police sources.

On Monday, the detainees began appearing in court on charges of having entered South Africa illegally and being in possession of stolen property.
National Police Chief Fannie Masemola said an investigation into whether they were involved in the rape is underway.
President Cyril Ramaphosa described on Monday these “horrific acts of brutality” as “an affront to women’s rights” and said that “rapists have no place in our society”.
This crime has fueled an already existing debate in South Africa about the chemical castration for rapists.
It has also put pressure on the government, as the opposition says the police are ill-equipped to fight crime in the country, which has one of the highest murder rates in the world.
