Shortly before 9 a.m., a previously unknown perpetrator entered a perfumery on the upper Schärdinger town square. “The perpetrator pushed the employee to the ground and demanded cash,” says Friedrich Stadlmayr, spokesman for the Upper Austrian police, when asked by OÖN. According to the employee who was attacked, the man was unmasked and is said not to have carried a weapon with him.
The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash. An intensive search was initiated immediately after the crime, and a helicopter is also used. The approximately 30-year-old perpetrator is said to be around 1.80 meters tall and of chubby build. He has dark hair, in fact he was wearing blue jeans, blue outerwear and black sneakers.
