For his part, the spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Naser Kanani, condemned the situation at a press conference and added that it violates China’s territorial integrity and goes against the United Nations Charter, according to a report by the Mehr news agency.
“Iran regards respect for the territorial integrity of countries as one of the foundations of its foreign policy and supports the One China policy in this regard. The framework is unequivocal,” he stressed.
Finally, he stressed that “unilateralism and the violation of international laws and obligations have become a fixed procedure in foreign policy” of the United States.
