For Kremsmünster, these charging points are important components for enlivening the center and slowing down the migration of purchasing power to shopping centers. “Our cooperation with Energie AG for the e-charging stations, the e-car sharing that has just been completely renewed and the first renewable energy community in Upper Austria are our entry into the electric age. Kremsmünster is therefore at the forefront for its citizens “says VP Mayor Gerhard Obernberger happily.
The public charging stations in Kremsmünster each have an output of eleven kilowatts. The charging stations were implemented within the last six months. They can be used with the Energie AG charging card.
A sufficient number of e-charging stations plays an important role in the sustainability concept of the market town of Kremsmünster. For the future, so-called fast charging stations are planned in Kremsmünster.
