In the meantime, Upper Austria’s police spokesman had sent a cease and desist order to the young man through his lawyer Gernot Sattlegger.
Sattlegger said the entry was “excessive and illegal” from his point of view because he assumed that the police spokesman was responsible for the doctor’s death.
Furtner suggested having a clarifying conversation and waived the claim for damages – the Upper Austrian agreed.
