The 23-year-old Iraqi from the Linz-Land district and the two Syrians (31 and 18 years old) from Wels molested women in a Wels pub shortly after 2 a.m. Therefore, a security employee instructed the men to leave the bar, as they were becoming more and more intrusive. However, the three men behaved extremely aggressively towards the employee and threatened him with beer bottles. A little later one of the three men smashed a bottle. They then threatened to kill the security guard. The men with the broken glass shards underscored this threat.
When the police arrived, the three local guests ran away. Two were caught by the patrol and taken to the police station. The third was able to flee for the time being – but has already been investigated. All three are displayed.
