The hiking and cycling trail from Geiersberg to St. Willibald has been made more attractive in recent years and comes as a well-signposted themed trail from Geiersberg via Pram, Taiskirchen, Dorf an der Pram, Riedau, Zell an der Pram and Altschwendt to St. Willibald: This Municipalities were border towns until 200 years ago. In addition to impressive vantage points, there are quiet and artistically designed places to linger along the route.
Theme boards explain the historical background to the former border between Bavaria and Austria. Children can let off steam on several playgrounds and newly designed play stations. The project was supported by Leader regions, whose offices also have free Granatzweg hiking maps available.
