From August 5th to 7th, the tourism association invited to the “6th Steyr Ambassador Meeting”. More than 35 guests accepted the invitation to Steyr and enjoyed a varied programme. On Friday, the regular guests embarked on a culinary city tour with beer tasting in the Schwechaterhof and epicurean delicacies in the Hotel Minichmayr. On Saturday, tourism director Eva Pötzl invited to the ambassador’s reception in the Sky Bar at harry’s home. The highlight of the day was the visit to “Die Fledermaus Reloaded” in Steyr’s moat as part of the Steyr Music Festival. City Councilor Judith Ringer personally said goodbye to the guests after the tour of the Jewish cemetery on Sunday morning.
The ambassadors were impressed by the wide range of offers and the warmth of the hosts and are looking forward to the next meeting in 2023.
