The Gstanzlsingen in Aspach is known far beyond the borders of the Innviertel. This year’s edition of the Aspacher Gstanzlsingen takes place from September 9th to 11th in the event center Danzer. Five performances are on the program over the three days.
“It’s one of the biggest folk events in the country,” says organizer Sepp Danzer. This time he and his team bring musicians and gstanzl singers from Austria and Bavaria to the stage. The performances are moderated by Pepi Meixner, who is also involved as a Gstanzl singer and musician with the Aspacher tridoublers.
Hosts on the 3 days are the Aspacher Tridoubler – a classic double trio. They will be accompanied musically by Michael Privasser (Styrian accordion) and Christian Eichberger (zither).
The homeowners (and ladies) claim is also made by the Solingen country group, known and loved, among other things, for the performance of the Innviertler Landler. Christine and Hans’ “almer” is a rarity and specialty.
“Erdäpfelkraut”, aka “Erdäpfelkraut”, is also no stranger to the market town of Aspach Hubert Mittemeier from Bavaria. The gstanzl singer and wedding loader is known for his spontaneous contributions and impromptu performances. The little Bloss – these are a musician and three musicians from the Innviertel and Bavaria. Among other things, the quartet impresses with hours of musical entertainment, which usually takes place without sheet music.
With the ” Gutau couch potatoes” two veterans of folk music from the Mühlviertel are guests in Aspach. They present pub songs and their own songs.
The performance on Friday, September 9th at 7.30 p.m. – the Innviertel evening, especially for companies, clubs and regulars’ tables – includes a welcome drink, an Innviertel snack and drinks.
