I always knew that I wanted to take on management responsibility. And it’s great fun to develop people,” says Corinna Lindinger. The 40-year-old has been in charge of the HR department at Linzer Saatbau with 550 employees across the group for around a year. Lindinger acquired the necessary knowledge by taking part in the MBA course “Management and Leadership for women”. This is offered in cooperation with the Linz Kepler University (JKU) and the Linz adult education center (VHS). The eighth round starts on November 3 with the aim of specifically qualifying women for and in management positions and to to support them in managing their professional challenges.

The course lasts four semesters and costs around 16,700 euros. Together with the OÖN, a scholarship of 4150 euros is advertised. Motivated women who want to expand their leadership and management skills can apply until September 3rd. Topics such as management and finance, controlling and project management are dealt with.

“I have a commercial apprenticeship. I missed the theory to practice”, says Corinna Lindinger about her reasons for completing the course part-time.
