In the Welios Science Center, visitors have recently been able to test a new hands-on station provided by Domico Dach-, Wand und Fassadensysteme and its owner representative and President of the WKOÖ, Doris Hummer.
“Go through the acoustic tunnel, speak and be amazed” is the motto of the new exhibit. Visitors big and small can change their pitch and pitch when talking or singing as they walk through and hear how the different wall facades affect the reverberation.
“With the acoustic tunnel, we use very simple means to show the effects of a soundproof facade or an acoustic ceiling,” says Hummer. It is not only about the aesthetics, but also about the positive effects on the people who work or live in the respective building.
For Welios Managing Director Michael Holl, the new exhibit is another building block to get even more young people excited about the subject of technology.
There are still places left during the holidays
There are still a few free places in the Welios summer holiday program, for example for the LEGO Mindstorms Mars mission on August 24th or the scientific holiday week from August 29th to September 2nd, which focuses on research and experimentation for a week. All information: welios.at
