The company “TIER” is expanding its range in Upper Austria and is now also offering e-scooters in St. Ulrich near Steyr. The provider is thus continuing its expansion into smaller communities in order to enable even more people to access micromobility. After Linz, Wels, Bad Ischl and Steyr, St. Ulrich is the fifth municipality in Upper Austria where TIER offers its e-scooter service.
The rules for operation, the business area and the parking zones were drawn up and defined in cooperation with the municipality. After the ride, the e-scooters can be parked in one of the seven parking zones. A local service team takes care of the maintenance of the e-scooters and can be informed about wrongly parked vehicles by e-mail at support@tier.app or via the telephone number on the e-scooters in order to repark the scooters in a timely manner.
The e-scooters used in Ortisei are the latest models. The e-scooters are equipped with three brakes and double suspension, among other things. To use the e-scooter, download the “TIER” app and start the scooter using the integrated QR code. There is an activation fee of 1 euro and 27 cents per minute. Payment can be made via PayPal or credit card.
