The countdown is on: On Thursday, October 6th, the OÖ Nachrichten and its partners will award the Digitalos. At the fourth edition of the digital prize, we are once again bringing those companies and people in front of the curtain that stand out in the digital world. Interested have on digitalos.nachrichten.at the opportunity to upload their application documents and be there. The deadline is September 3rd.

The crowd in the category is big “Digital Start-up”. Companies are sought here that have a unique idea, whose business model can be scaled quickly and is also attractive to investors. Demand is increasing because the mobility revolution is progressing and companies are increasingly discovering company bikes for themselves and their employees due to tax breaks.

In three other categories, participants in the Digitalos also have a chance of winning the trophy, which voestalpine manufactures from metal powder using a 3D printing process.

In the category “Digital Personality” People in digital public life with original content are sought and awarded.

the “Digital Transformation” is aimed at all those companies that have changed their business model from analogue to digital, have developed a secure future concept and can thus stand out from the competition.

The application section “Digital Engagement” in turn, highlights associations, institutions, networks and groups that have distinguished themselves through digital commitment to society – and last but not least set an example in the pandemic.

However, you cannot apply in the category “Digital pioneering work”. A person is honored here who has significantly shaped digitization in Upper Austria with their achievements. This award is determined by the jury around the JKU professor Martina Mara.

After two years without a live audience due to the pandemic, the presentation of the digitalo is planned on October 6th in the OÖN-Forum in the Promenaden Galerien in Linz as a face-to-face event.
