They confirm the arrival of 4 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The Mexican president warned that he will go against Covax and the UN “because it is already a lot, it is the last straw, even if it is the United Nations”, said. In this line, López Obrador criticized the high world organizations, remarking that “there are acts of corruption” that affect the poorest countries and in his case “he will not cover up any action of this type.”

In October 2020, Mexico signed the commitment to join the Covax mechanisma multilateral country plan for access to vaccines against Covid-19, led by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the UN. The program was born in 2020, in the midst of the worst health crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, when there were still no vaccines in scale production for the States.
