At least sixteen people died this Saturday in Turkey in a bus accident. During the skid, the car collided with ambulance crews and journalists who were at the scene due to an accident that had previously occurred on the highway.
Gaziantep Governor Davut Gul said three firefighters, four ambulance workers and two Turkish news agency operators were among the dead.
“A passenger bus crashed here this morning around 10:45,” adds Davut Gul.
“While firefighters and medical teams were responding to the accident, a bus crashed about 200 meters behind it. This car drove to the scene and hit the rescuers and victims on the ground,” he concludes.
