A suspected cocaine dealer in Linz is said to have delivered his customers with the help of an unsavory method: Packed in the form of small balls, the 34-year-old Nigerian is said to have swallowed the drugs and choked them up again shortly before handing them over, and then gave them to his customers, usually directly from his hand over mouth. The man, who is illegally in Austria, was arrested in June when he attempted to hand over almost 220 grams of cocaine.
He is said to have traded cocaine and marijuana in the Linz city area since 2019. In his hiding place, an apartment in Linz, investigators found cash worth 3,300 euros in addition to other “cocaine eggs”.
Despite the corona pandemic, he is said to have handed the cocaine directly out of the mouth to the customers. This is a common procedure for drug dealers, but they put their lives at risk: because if a packet were to open up in the body, the organism would not be able to cope.
The suspect told detectives that he had come to Austria to sell newspapers. He wants to provide for his family in Spain with the income. According to the police, transfers on his mobile phone of several thousand euros probably did not come from the newspaper sale. He is in custody in the Linz prison. For the time being, he did not confess to cocaine trafficking.
