LINZ. The Linz brewery in the former power plant of the tobacco factory is in itself an open zone. But on September 3rd, those responsible are emphatically inviting you to come.
“Banging beer” is on the invitation to everyone. With good reason: “The beer bench and the beer table are typical features of people coming together,” says Andreas Stieber, one of the managing directors of Craftvoll GmbH, in the OÖN interview. And that’s exactly what should happen from 2 p.m. at the big brewery festival.
“Bierbangeln” came about from the idea of holding an open day at the Linz brewery, which opened in early April. But just calling it that seemed too banal, as marketing professional Stieber says. So we thought about it and came up with the term that is now to be established in Linz. Because the “beer banging” should not remain a one-off action. “We intend to do it once a year.”
Inform, consume, be entertained – this is possible on the afternoon of September 3 under the motto “Linz is coming, zam, zam, zam” with free admission. As much as the focus is of course on Linzer beer, which, according to Stieber, is very well received by customers in all variants, there is also a wide range of activities on offer.
Food stations for physical well-being have been set up, the children can let off steam in the ball pool, a fun photo box has been set up, and there is also plenty of music.
“We absolutely wanted to have bands with an Upper Austrian connection,” says Stieber. thought, done. The Mühlviertler Jack The Busch (from 2 p.m.), the Linzer Average (from 4.45 p.m.) and the Vöcklabruckerin Avec (7.30 p.m.) will perform at the festival,
Tours of the brewery are also offered three times an hour until 7 p.m. These should give a little insight into the brewery. If you want to see more, you can book a guided tour after September 3rd.
