Together with other cooperation partners, they developed the Natur:Checker training course for children between the ages of six and twelve.
On September 10th there is the first opportunity to become a Natur:Checker. Within two hours, children and their parents can complete five hands-on workshops in the Chamber of Agriculture – for example shaking butter, pulling beeswax cloth or planting trees. Additional background knowledge is imparted to the participants at the stations. At the end, the children receive a certificate confirming that they are now Natur:Checkers.
“With the workshops, we want to teach children, together with their parents, how to deal with their environment with trust,” says Hattmannsdorfer. The 4youCard.Junior offer is intended to teach children how to have fun dealing with nature and sustainability.
