Bundesliga soccer club Sturm Graz has so far given the Serie A club Atalanta Bergamo the cold shoulder when they are courting Rasmus Höjlund. According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs have now agreed on a change of the 19-year-old striker talent.
The Italians will therefore transfer 17 million euros to Murstadt. With bonus payments, the amount could increase up to 20 million. Most recently, Bergamo had offered twelve million for the Dane, who is considered coach Gian Piero Gasperini’s preferred candidate, which Sturm was not enough.
A fat return beckons for Grazers: Höjlund was only brought in from FC Copenhagen in January for 1.8 million euros. In 21 games for Sturm, he had 12 goals and four assists.
