The 27-year-old Croatian from Linz and his 25-year-old passenger from the Freistadt district were heading north on the A7 around 7 p.m. At the Linz junction, the driver suddenly skidded his vehicle. He lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the car of a 25-year-old. The 27-year-old’s car overturned and finally came to a stop on the right-hand side of the road. Both drivers and the 55-year-old passenger of the 25-year-old were injured. Significant damage was caused to the vehicles.
After the police carried out a drug test on the 27-year-old, it turned out that the driver was under the influence of drugs. The driver’s license could no longer be taken from the person who caused the accident – it has already been withdrawn from him.
