According to LKA director Katja Tersch, who once again asked for information from the population, they are in the process of exhausting all criminal police measures. The 37-year-old father had been walking with his boy, who was in a pram, at 4 a.m. when the crime apparently took place. In this case, this was “quite normal behavior” and nothing unusual, said the head of the Tyrolean State Criminal Police Office. The man stated that he often did this to calm his mentally handicapped child.
According to the investigators, after the German father had been knocked unconscious, the six-year-old must have climbed out of the stroller on his own and fallen into the river. The child was aborted and finally found dead around 600 meters downstream.
