Russia has liquidated 31 foreign organizations this year, Alexander Grebenkin, deputy secretary of the Russian Security Council, said on Monday, referring to measures that have been criticized by the international community.

“This year, for repeated and gross violations of the legislation of the Russian Federation, 18 offices and representative offices of foreign and international non-governmental organizations were liquidated and the activities of 13 organizations from the USA, Great Britain, Poland, Ukraine and the USA were recognized as undesirable, with a subsequent ban,” Grebenkin said in an interview. , published on Monday by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

The Deputy Minister added that, in addition to these situations, seven non-profit organizations, 13 legal entities and 48 individuals were recognized as “foreign agents”.
