Neighbors alerted the police around 8 p.m. on Sunday. When the officers arrived, the accused threatened and threw a flower stick in the direction of a police officer’s head, but he was able to dodge in time. Then, in his aggressive behavior, he deliberately climbed onto the bonnet of the patrol vehicle, hit the facade paneling of the house three times with his fist and, after several verbal threats against the officers, tried to take physical action again.
After numerous warnings and requests to stop his behavior, the man was put out of action by three police officers using pepper spray. The suspect was then secured and arrested, according to the police report. After medical care – immediately after the use of pepper spray – no injuries could be determined during the medical examination. No other people were injured either.
According to the specialist workshop, the patrol car remained undamaged. The accused was admitted to the Wels prison by order of the Wels public prosecutor’s office.
